Reviews - The Widow of Port Seaton
January 3, 2013, by Christine Clark
I could NOT put this book down. The story was epic in the experiences of the main character, Gael. Gael's story follows her very vivid experience as a seamstress in a posh dress establishment in Boston, a survivor of a shipwreck, and a lighthouse keeper. This was a very interesting story because it brought you intimately into the life, experiences, and romances of Gael, placing you right alongside her ups and downs. If you are looking for a book that will place you into Gael's life, but also lets you experience sights, sounds, of the 1840s and beyond. I would recommend it to all who love a good romance! Please note there are some very revealing sexual scenes.
